I am in Sudbury; frequently coming south for visits and business. I would like to join a gathering if I can make the date: Thursday or Friday or even a Saturday would be a good day for me. Rob Skeoch often tries to organize something for LF shooters, at least in the fall, I am not sure about spring. Should we try for a time when Les McLean is visiting, I understand that he may be more frequently in Canada?

Spring LF thread to follow for GTA crowd

I am going to try to squeze a Rob organized event into my schedule. He is doing a LF Burlington waterfalls gathering on 5 April. I have not checked the thread regarding this event in some time, but I have got this date onto my wife's calendar so I don't end up getting committed to something else for that day.

Both Les and Nicole will be in Toronto , mid June , we could organize something then, Bill Schwab is organizing Photostock in Michigan late June. A bunch of us are attending his event and could be fun for us Ontarians to Invade the Yanks in mass and bring some real beer and watch them all pass out early.

Kind of short notice for me since he referes to an all day event, then I'm not ready yet to get into LF.

I am in for a pre-invasion gathering. As long as McLean keeps the Bushmills to himself and doesn't try to force it on anyone else.
Perhaps, Carnie or Dinesh, another thread should be started with an appropriate title?

I live in Scarborough, work downtown Toronto, and shoot 35mm, 6X6 (Rolleicord) and 4X5. I also have a darkroom in my basement using a Durst 4X5.

Hi Bill and others. I grew up in Toronto and still live here, in Swansea, just west of High Park. I'm a fan of anything analog, can't understand digital cameras. Shoot mostly 35mm, some medium format and just got my first LF outfit. Now I just need more time and money to indulge my obsession, er, I mean hobby.

I would like to get together, but I'm moving in a couple of weeks, so that should occupy me totally until at least May!

I am game, my life gets a lot lest complicated after April 9th. Now the next skill testing question, since we as a regional community are spread out all over the GTA how about we meeting in say Bloor West Village which is Nancy B's 'hood?

That would be the main opening night of contact at Brassai.
I have to be at three shows that night that I printed. so maybe another night??
