Any value to 100' bulk rolls or 35 mm 36 exposures frozen since 1980s or 1990s?

Is there any value to the following: (anyone want these?)

• 2 boxes X Tri-X bulk rolls (exp. 1978 and 1982) and 1 box Pan-X (exp. 1981). Stored frozen in original unopened Kodak boxes.

• 10 rolls Tri-X 36 exp in original Kodak plastic containers, no boxes, exp. 02-93
• 5 rolls HIE High Speed Infrared 02/2009
• 8 x Tmax 400 TMY 12/1991
• 4 rolls Tmax P3200 05/1994
• 3 rolls Maco 820/400 36 exp.

Or, should I just recycle this film with a company that does silver recovery? Any recommendations for a recycler?

I’m currently on a roll of 1972 room stored EK 5302, I see no reason why cold stored stuff wouldn’t be worth shooting with.

I am gobsmacked that nobody has said this - EBAY.

List it all and flog it all off to the highest bidders. You will do very well out of it.

Old film sells like hotcakes on that site. Google 'expired film' and see what treasures lie therein.

Let all the blood and gore be spilled OL and earn something out of it.

The IR stuff will most likely be fogged, but the rest is worth testing.

Wow! Looking at both the co.uk and com ebay sites, made me realise how much of a market there is out there for expired film.

I too have rolls of both 35mm and 120 in both b/w and colour, which has been kept chilled, that I'm never going to use, so if it can go to someone who will use it, well and good. A few quid to spend on fresh stuff is a bonus!

So, ebay here I come.

Sorry for being so late in responding. I'm not out to maximize the bucks, although I would certainly like to make a few bucks/quid/dinero. I need to get this film out of the freezer RIGHT NOW, according to my Chief Financial Officer. So here is what I will do. I will check the eBay site to use as a gauge. Then I will reply to all PMs in the order I got them. As long as we can strike a reasonable deal, I'm OK. Because we are just wrapping up a home remodel project, it may be a few more days before you hear from me again. But I feel that this board serves a valuable purpose, and I want to show appreciation to people here.

Aside from questions about developing 40 year old film, I will soon have questions about scanning both negatives and slides.
