I have one of these in my possession. It operates (operated) by turning a crank after the processing cartridge was inserted. I found it useful back in the 1980s for Polachrome and Polablue, but I haven't seen the film for it made in eons. Should I just send it to the landfill, or is there some use or collector's market for it?

Those were really cool back in the day. We used one, too, for presentation slides. I can’t imagine a market for one other than someone collecting such archaic stuff. Not too long ago I discarded the instruction book. I kept that for years as it gave me happy memories.

EDIT: I guess i changed my mind and didn’t throw it away, after all… there are 2 copies on my bookshelf!

There's was a video a Youtuber made: that got pretty popular. I'm sure there are some film aficionados out there who wants to get their hands on one. Although finding the film itself might be a challenge.

Ah, I see he ran into the problem that the remjet-like layer does not want to come off when the film is really old--but I did not know just water would do the trick.

Do you still have it? They’re not worth a ton but it sounds like you’ve got a manual one which I’ve been meaning to pick up - I have 5 or 6 boxes of polachrome but lack the processor.
