Not interested, all my 35 gear is Nikon, wouldn't want to buy another body just to use one lens.:tongue:

One hell of a lens, not for the average photographer! I believe I saw this lens on this site sometime ago.

Jeff

Nope, close focusing distance is just appalling. I wait for a better version.

I like the stand though. None of my Gitzos/Manfrottos comes with a bench.

How long will you get to take photos near an airport before the police gets there? :D
f/14?? just too slow. Ill stick with my nikons
Best regards

By the way, this is not my lens for sale...I don't know the guy or anything. I didn't even have any idea these existed so I wanted to share....I must say, I really like the lens cap.

I think I will wait until they have a version out for the Mamiya MF.

Is there one in a black finish?

Steve.

But.... I thought old FD lenses were supposed to be so inexpensive!

You should get it, EktaPatrick. You've already got an AE-1, so you're halfway there.:D

Does it cover 11x14" ?

It's not just the lens, have you seen the mount in the illustration with a built in seat ?

If you need a little excitement in your life, you could ring-mount this thing on the back of a pickup truck, like a Somali "technical", then have a friend drive you around Washington, DC taking pictures of government buildings.

Leitz once gave away a Volkswagen Polo (Rabbit to you across the Pond) with their longest lens.
Zeiss had their longest telephoto mounted on the back of a pick-up truck.
And now we're supposed to want to buy this lens without even a neck strap???

I would actually have a use for this

What's funny though is that B & H wants 120,000 USD for the 1200mm EF.

That's because the EF is auto focus. This one is an older manual focus lens. Duh!

It is now. When it came out it had a slave included to do the focusing for you.

With two I'd have a great set of binoculars.

The amateur astronomer in me goes "Ooooooh! Pretty!", but my wallet says "Yeah, right."

It would take some good astrophotos I bet, but you would need one heck of a good mount to keep it tracking right.
Michael

no polarizer, or red filter included. jeez, no UV filter at least?

besides, no cool seat included :D. that mean's its junk. ya need a seat man!
