I have been looking for a replacement for my old generic 180 monolight and add a second light. The Streaklight/bolt/cheetah 360 flash looks like it would fit my small space and portability needs. looking for anyone with experience.

I was just looking at the Streaklight on Adorama's site. I'm interested to hear some experiences as well.

I love the Streaklight. I've had it for a few weeks and the portableness of it is amazing. I no longer have to schlep my Large 400w/s strobes and find an A/C power source.

Get this Bowens adapter and you get a small softbox: http://www.ebay.com/itm/S-Type-Brac...029975?hash=item1ea6d58517:g:lMgAAOSwBLlU2wdY

I got this bundle deal from Adorama as I found it the best deal form all the bare bulb flashes: Dead Link Removed
I got the same kit and it was $80 more, so lucky you.

Also, the trigger is nice because it can control the power. The bad side, I think it's only compatiable with their USB connector flashes/strobes. Wish I could use it on other flashes even if it doesn't control the power.

I might sell two of my monolights to pick up another one.
