Any opinions about the Durst M370 BW?

Hello everybody,

I'm searching for an enlarger for my darkroom, that will be my first one. The choices down here are not many and the prices are even worse. I'm looking for something that will cover 6x6. I don't have a medium format camera right now, but I'd like to try it at some point.

Initially, I thought about getting a Meopta Opemus 6. I've used them and they seem to be fine, since having a color head isn't a necessity, or at least not for the foreseeable future. Today, I saw a classified for a Durst M370 BW enlarger with a Rodenstock Rodagon 50mm f/2.8. So, the questions are:

1) Ok, the lens is fine, but how about the enlarger? I've heard about other models, but not for this one.

2) I assume that I'll probably need to replace something for medium format negatives (if it's not so). Does anybody know about that?

3) Are spare parts for this enlarger easy to find?

If this is it, it looks like a nice condenser enlarger.
Its in the current Durst product brochure, so it looks like a 'current' item with support from Durst. Dead Link Removed

See the brochure, but you would need the Lidiset 66 or Lidiset 67 for medium format printing. If the price is reasonable I'd go for it.

You'd need to replace the complete enlarger.

Get a 6 series, M601, 605. 670 with a colour head it'll be far more versatile.

Which accessory? The one I have has the condenser configuration and it was designed to handle up to 6x6. There was a later Opemus 7 model, for up to 6x7 negatives.

Sorry, my bad. I thought you were still talking about the 370.

Hey guys, first time on here.
I've just bought an M370 from eBay where it was described as an M370, but he's nw sent me more pictures and i've found out that it's a Durst 'Graduate'. It looks like the same sort of machine, but is it?? Does anyone know??
