Any modern aftermarket cases for Rolleiflex 2.8C's??

Just thought I'd kick out the corners of discussion...

Not likely that with such a small aftermarket for this wonderful little camera, that anyone out there would be making
aftermarket cases for them...I see original ones available on Ebay...most seem pretty beat...I'm always hesitant with
vintage leather products...especially for $100+ U.S...usually pretty fragile.

Has anyone ever seen a more modern aftermarket one?

620 (700$) for a case. Wow, this is the most expensive camera case that I have ever seen.

Wow. I must say, as someone who appreciates fine art and craftsmanship...these cases are absolutely stunning!

Sadly, these works of art are beyond my price range...but in my opinion, completely worth the care and effort
he puts into making them! When it comes to craftsmanship, the Italians and Germans really are gifted.

Domke F-5XB or equivalent. I used it for my 2.8C. Room for camera film & meter, and it's unobtrusive.

I did get an original case, which differs BTW from the earlier models (Automat) and latere ones (2.8E and F) because it has a different strap. I did not like the original strap, but the case is nice. My strap was renewed, never trust original ones. Still, even with another strap which fitted the connection, I decided it was not safe. I have the strap attached to the lugs, not the pin.
However, since I always use the hood, I just put it in a bag without the case: either the ThinkTank retrospective 20 or Billingham 307, both with other cameras besides. It is much more practical, esp. since you need a handheld light meter unless you work with the Sunny-16 rule.

I use a Crumpler 4 Million dollar home. Fits my Sekonic 558, my Rollei with the hood on, and 8 rolls of film, plus filters and notepad. I've been very happy with the bag, it is made wonderfully.

wouldnt it fit in a yashicamat case? plenty of those floating around complete with broken camera for $25?

I've been using the LowePro Event Messenger 250 for a bag because I can keep my 2.8E with a hood, my Tele-Rolleiflex with the 0.35 Rolleinar or a second 2.8E with a hood, meter, and two pro-packs of film in the main compartment, plus all the little accessories in the front pouch, and there's even room for an iPad in the interior rear slot. If you wanted something smaller, the Event Messenger 150 would probably handle a single Rolleiflex plus the film, meter and accessories.

Well, there still are leather bag makers around who will make any bag you like from leather.
