Good grief. I get better results than that from my Instax Mini 9. Plastic lens, three weather symbols plus flash, fixed focus (about 5-6 feet)...
Edit: Okay, Fuji claims 0.6m to infinity, not sure what's focusing or how -- or whether it's f/22 and adjusts shutter speed with the weather symbols...
There is no focussing, it's fixed, It has just a change of aperture via the weather symbols, 12,7 indoors, 16 cloudy, 22 sunny and 32 very sunny. I presume it's something from 1-3m at F12.7 and gets more DOF via closing the aperture.
I also have the Classic Neo 90. That one give fantastic results. I will put some photos on my website this afternoon...
I can tell you (from a recent indoor cat photo) that it's close to 1.5 m true focus distance. If it goes to f/32 that might explain the selfie mirror on the lens surround. Flash exposure looks best around that 1.5 m distance, too.
I’ve been using the RF70 since January of 2021 and it’s been a joy to use. My only gripe is probably not being able to use the ND filters and the lens hood at the same time.
