I designed and built an arduino based agitation / timer device for my development needs. It was designed to use standard tanks (plastic reels or ss reels tanks) and have no desire to add plumbing to the mix.

The intent was to do like humans, just better than humans.

There is a java based app to manage the formulas and to easily adjust settings.

A flickr album showing some early harware building is here https://www.flickr.com/photos/peterbcarter/albums/72157683748548235

I made this unit for me. If there is any *real* interest, I can make a point of making it available DIY.

So far, I am under $150.

Looks interesting. Not sure all that it's doing. Can it do the classic agitation every 3 minutes for 4X inversions? or 2X every 30 seconds? or 4X every minute? or some such nonsense, or is it designed to have constant agitation?

It’s designed to be as flexible as possible. Every formula is designed to be a series of tasks.....to become what ever you want.

Yesterday I put in a feature to be able to count usage. Like how many times fixer got used.

I am building a more complete website describing the software, firmware and hardware combinations in much greater detail. The only problem is I am off to get some sun in a couple days.

And no inversions, just rotations.

I think I would rather take a bath with my toaster. I would rather use two clothes pins and a bowl of D-76. Now that's fun.

Skip the clothes pins and go right to the toaster. Be more productive.
