I also had to laugh, when I saw these two marketing slogans:
- The CanoScan 9000F is also capable of scanning up to four 35mm slides or 12 35mm filmstrips at one time further adding to its archival capabilities.
The highlighted section is wrong, it should be 12 frames in probably two strips of 6 frames... No way 12 strips of film would fit on any A4 flatbed. And now here is the catch: My 9950F can do five strips of 6 frames in one go... that is three more than this new one, and 30 frames in total. The LED lightsource in the top must be smaller than the cold cathode in mine.
- Scans one 35 mm frame in just 18 seconds.........at 1200 dpi!!!!!!
It's supposed to be faster, but this ridiculous figure seriously makes me doubt it. My 9950F does something similar at this ridiculous low dpi.
