Any history on the coating plants?

I have recently been experimenting with some papers made in the Czech Republic (Fomatone), Croatia (Fotokemi Varycon) and Russia (Slavich) as final support paper for carbon transfer printing. Just wondering if anyone could give me some history and background on the plants where these papers are being coated.
