I was looking around to find a 10 sheet pack of 11x14 grade 2 FB paper and found this brand i was not familiar with, does it have good quality or are there some known defects to be found? Any examples or experiences?

I've used a few sheets of it in 8x10. My experience with graded and FB papers is limited, but I like it. Partly this is because of the texture, which is an old-fashioned "silk" surface, similar to what was popular in the 1970s. This gives prints a unique feel, which can work well for some subjects. Most of what I shoot isn't really suited to this paper, but I do have a few prints (mostly portraits) that work well with it, so I've got some stashed in my freezer for whenever I might need it next.

The Slavich paper is very good overall. The Bromportrait as alrady stated, does have an old look texture with the silk embossed surface. I have used it and it's very warm toned, and gives great mid tone seperation as is expected with Graded paper. It's not a paper I use a lot of, but I do on occasion. It tones in selenium verociously though and will go a purple red color pretty quickly if you don't watch out. I actually prefer the Slavich Unibrom paper out of thwe two papers available. That is the COLDEST toned bromide based graded paper currently available today.

The Unibrom liths as well, while the Bromoportrait did not for me.

A word of advice, do not order singleweight paper from Slavich, I ended up by accident with a stock of Unibrom 50x60 in singleweight and it's extremely thin, fragile... it feels worst than RC !
