Is there any modern photographic use for a Polaroid 500 holder? I know film hasn’t been made in decades. I know it makes an interesting paperweight. Is anyone using one for anything?
I’m sure @jnantz has some ideas.
If your pockets are deep enough, that will work with New55; it also works with Quickload/Readyload/etc. daylight loading single sheet films, if you can still find those.
I bought a box of stuff. Also included was a 4x5 film pack adapter with two tabs sticking out and an unopened pack of Tri-X expired 1975. Hmmmm, do I shoot it or offer it to someone here?

well ... I have one, and its grandchild, the 545i ... I was using them with polaroid film and fuji+kodak ready loads ...
but now I think it gets turned into an art project.. was thinking maybe a lamp on Etsy
graphic pack film adapters though. .. I have one that is getting turned into something for wet or dry plates...
naa. ic-racer. not badmouthing at all, just don't have any film to be used in them. I remember Ron mowery used to somehow use them for his paper negative
exposures but I was never quite sure how he did it. . or I would have suggested it.
I'd have to measure to be sure, but it should. You'd have to put it on a pull carrier, in an envelope like Type 55 or a Readyload to be able to insert and pull for processing, though. Might be possible, though.
