Any 8x10 Color Slide film still available on the market?

I'm been searching around for any 8x10 Color slide film and cannot find anything. Velvia? Provia? Ect? I've only touched in color slighty, but was planning a project soon that would require photographing with 8x10 color slide film. Hopefully someone here can suggest a product and where to purchase it.

Yes, Fuji and Kodak still offer it in several emulsions. By the way, in large format, this type of film is called "Color Transparency Film".

I'm guessing that means that no one ever made an 8x10 carousel projector? That would make for quite the vacation slide show.

No, but put 8x10 transparency film on the overhead projector and it looks great!

While the "where to purchase it" has been covered. You should be prepared for "sticker shock" as 8x10 Color Transparency Film sells for between $6 to $10 a sheet in boxes of 10 to 50 sheets.

Then, there is the processing costs of $7 per sheet as well. I had to trade all my 8x10 film and even some of my 4x5 Tranny film for 120 rolls. One roll of E6 120 costs only $4 and $5 for processing.
I, now understand why Photographer Christopher Burkett asks so much for his Ilfordchrome prints and why some other photographers have gone Digital totally!

When you get it right, though, the results can be stunning. Expose carefully.

Fortunately, I still have a decent supply of cold-stored past-date 8x10" Astia that Freestyle was clearing out a couple of years ago, and it still seems to be good, but I probably should shoot the rest of it soon.

Thanks everyone. I only checked Freestyle, and they call it "Color Slide Film", regardless of size. Freestyle said that all sized color slide films larger than 4x5 are no longer going to be sold. I did not think to check B+H because I usually do not use them.

I was already aware of the price and that's not a problem at all.

Try Kodak Ektachrome 64T (EPY). It has an amazingly long scale, responds well to zone system controls and the color balance is perfect. It's my absolute favorite film of any kind, ever.

FreeStyle occasionally has short date 8x10 film !

A couple of years ago Freestyle had 50 sheet boxes of Astia and Provio for $29 each,
and I bought either 7 or 10 boxes--still in the freezer---!! Saving them at this point!

You wouldn't only need a vacation, but a truss for you're double hernia from carrying it about

Sadly, Ryan, this obscure sized film must have been discontinued several decades ago, as I have never heard of it. The good news is that 10"x8" colour transparency film is widely available, try rotating your camera 90 degrees and I'm sure all will be well.
