I found this Ansco Super Regent (aka Agfa Super Solinette) at a camera show
for $20 this past weekend. It's in very nice cosmetic shape and the bellows
seem fine. The focus movement was stiff which I've now corrected and I'm
currently cleaning the sticky shutter blades. The RF/VF is clean and easy to
use. The Compur shutter has a full range of speeds to 1/500. There is a button
on the far end that snaps out the lens like a rocket. This seems like a pleasant
little camera and the lens is a 4-element Tessar type Solinar 50/3.5 which
should produce very good results.

This is the rebadged version of the Agfa Super Solinette. It's an excellent little camera, once you relube the lens helical and check that the bellows are light-tight.

I have the Super Solinette and recently finished working on a Super Regent. You camera (and mine) have the LVS shutter, which is identical to the one that was used in the later Retina cameras. Some of the earlier models had a non-LVS shutter, which I prefer, because it makes it a bit easier to change shutter speed and aperture.

You got a good deal. I think these cameras are underrated, which means that you can often find them for a reasonable amount.
