Hey guys!
Long time lurker, new to posting. I have an epson v750 that I scan my 4x5 slides with. for a long time I've used two pieces of ANR glass that were cut down to size that id sandwich my sheet in to scan. When I bought my scanner, it came with the epson fluid mount tray, and im curious if anyone has dismantled that thing, to replace the non ANR glass with a sheet of ANR glass so that you can quickly and conveniently dry scan using that tray. I know you likely won't be able to wet scan with the tray after doing this, but I don't really plan to anyway. Ive seen posts about using "etched museum glass" instead of ANR glass to save on cost, anyone have a link to somewhere reliable I could pick some of this up? Thanks for everyone's time! Trying to get rid of the pesky newton rings you can see in some of these recent scans!
