Okay, I'm sure you all are bombarded with these, but here I am. I would like a reasonably priced desktop printer to be used for making digital negatives - right now cyanotypes and VDBs. Right now just 8x10, maybe going up to 13xsomething later.

Is there a cheap, good printer in the range of $150 - $250 that could do this? Something that I can find help using for diginegs if needed, reasonable ink cost would be a plus. And, if it could wash my dishes as well that's be great!

Thanks guys.

I have heard some good things about the Epson 1400. It uses dye based inks and was getting a lot of raves on the piezography group. I also hear it has paper feed issues. Don't know about digi negs with it, but with 1.5 picoliter drop size it may have very little grain. They are heavily discounted right now and fall within your budget.
