I have to apologize, I just saw the image again and was looking closely, seems that in fact WOULD be the part that would extend and help, or looks like it, I have never seen them in person and didn't see the little tab clip things that stuck out the side of the bottom portion.... so yes these would work. Thanks for caching that, I was wrong and you were correct.

Yes, these do fit in place of the rollers and the rollers are put in the extenders. On my machine there is a slot into which these fit, to keep them from tilting inward or outward and I don't see that slot in the roller holders that are glued to the base of your machine.

However, this image posted below indicates that some roller holders don't have the slot and the tabs just grab the outer edge of the roller holder to keep the extended rollers from flipping outward. Obviously the roller holders need to be glued to an exact location in your machine so that the rollers contact the tank perfectly with either the rollers alone or with the extenders.

I also wanted to point out that the roller base that was mentioned is the exact same parts as the roller assembly used for the lift. It is compatible with those roller extensions and would keep the rollers the exact specified distance apart but hands-on testing would be needed to see if the height is correct for your machine.

I'm just going to NOT use the 1500 series drums and stick to the 2500 series, I'm mostly developing 4x5 anyway, I just thought it would be fun to use it for smaller runs with less chemistry, however, I've had a horrible time using the 1500 series reels, I miss my Paterson style reels wish the tongue (I think samigon made them) it baffles me why JOBO doesn't have a tongue to guide the film, those Paterson sizes reels are ao easy compared to anything JOBO...

Stone it seems that you really have a hard time with Jobo reels, tanks and machines.
Why don't you just go back to paterson? The tank, reels and mod54 can all be had for less then 100$....
It will spare you the agony.

I don't want to hand process HP5+@6400 for 30 minutes straight... That's the first of many reasons... The JOBO are a means to an end, I'll deal. I can still complain.

The whole thread is complete, I have discovered the temperature issue, and solved it... Thank you everyone.

do you have a manual that you can read for your processor ?
it might help you learn about what you have, how to use it &c
so you dont have a issues
so your processing scheme is less problematic, and more productive ...

in the end it is easier to read and refer to a manual than it is to
start threads about how to calibrate a thermometer, the difference between a thermostat
temperature regulator and thermometer .. how to load tanks, and general use of the machine ..

maybe jobo has them on archive- ice
or archive.org's wayback machine
( sans peabody ) can help ...
or a few concise posts asking for manual info here,
pnet, lfinfo might find you what you need ..
( or a library might help you find one!) ...

much easier to use a manual than be constantly frustrated ...
and posting cranky posts about the manufacturer, or their product ..

Unfortunately, there is not a manual for that machine available anywhere.
On the other hand, the manual for the 2509 and 1501 reels are available online for free and might help if someone is having a hard time loading reels.

well, i have feelers out now in europe for the manual,
but according to someone i know of who told me what
that processor is, it is pretty straight forward ...
a water-tub with a thermostat that keeps the temperature
regulated by cycling on and off and a motor that spins the tank.

i was under the impression that it was more complicated than that
having seen jobo processors with the lift and without,
with racks for chemicals &c over the years ...
( i thought it was complicated, or more complicated )

if i can get my hands on the manual, just the same i will
post it in the articles section, and send it to catlabs so they
can be a one stop shop for all your jobo needs ...
