but what agitation do you normally use? Agfa`s??

This applies to all film-developer combo's, not only for Rodinal.
It would be a great extention to the MDC on digitaltruth.com

Whenever I try a new developer in my soup, I follow my own agitation scheme. It's easier to stick to it and adjust dev.time than using x agitation schemes and remember them all.

If your talking about film- 30 sec at start and then 5 sec. every 30 after.
If your talking about people- usually a sharp stick to the ribs works well.

I depends, when time is in the order of:
- 10 minutes - 30 secs then once every minute
- 30 minutes - 30 secs then once every other minute
- 1 hour - 30 secs then once every while

This is pretty much what I do, too.

If I am in for some contrast I agitate to times every 30 sec.
