I like the site - nice use of Flash (i.e. not Flash heavy). Lots of people are down on Flash, but when it's used well it is a really useful tool for getting your website out there. Try creating a website that will render predictably in IE 4.x, 5.x, 6.x, 7.x, 8.x, Firefox 1.x, 2.3, Opera 1.x, 2.x etc. etc. None of these will tell the user if the page they're viewing will render correctly, they'll just try and render it as best they can - sometimes with dire consequences. Flash, on the other hand, will inform the user that they need to upgrade their player if it's out of date for the site they're trying to view. Very useful. Plus, a good Flash site will scale to whatever window/screen size the user wishes without the crazy things that can (and do) happen to most HTML pages. As broadband rolls out across the western world (and beyond), download times are inconsequential really. Here in rural Canada we get 15MB/Sec download speeds! In any case, a well constructed Flash site will load content as and when it's needed - thus keeping the initial download small.
