Earlier this week I dusted off the pelican case containing my Leica and opened it for the first time in over 15 years! My M6 TTL and lenses still in great condition. I was worried when I discovered I forgot to remove the battery - but no leakage, and it still works! I used to have a darkroom for developing and printing B&W, but forgot about that many years ago since changing to digital. But I want to start using the M6 again and have ordered some HP5+ and a Lab-Box unit to make developing a bit simpler. I don't plan to return to printing with chemicals, so will experiment with digitising negatives using a digital camera. I found this forum and discovered this appears to be called a hybrid workflow, and not uncommon - I have already spent quite some time reading through the posts and look forward to learning with you.
