Another film user from Chicago

I have been lurking here for a while but I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Chris and I make my living from photography. I am a diehard film shooter, dislikes color film, was a diehard Hc-110 user now using Diafine mostly, have a full DR setup in the basement, shoots medium and large format although I do use 35mm for some things and I am glad this site is here.

Hi and welcome, Chris. Chicago is my favorite city in the USA - I lived in South Bend, IN for a year. This is the place to be for film photography. It's a great bunch of very knowledgeable people. The vast majority are mainly monochrome, and even some of the colour fans like Robert from Hawaii occasionally venture into the world of black and white.

Ahh maybe, I had my Velvia phase and I will pop off some Provia from time to time but I just perfer the look of a well printed B&W image.
