Will a Wide-Field Ektar 135mm cover an 8X10? I like 20mm on my 35mm cameras, so I guessing I'd like the wide perspective on 8X10. I have a Wollensak 11-7/8 (302mm) f/4.5 for my "normal" lens. I also have 180mm and 210mm German lenses but I'm looking to keep my Deardorff kit 100% USA.

Thanks for your comments.

No, not even close. The 190mm is the shortest Wide Field Ektar that's specified for 8x10.

Eh? Wot? What a daft idea.

If you must use a US-made lens, look for a #2 (~ 124 mm) B&L f/18 Protar in Volute. [sarcasm] Good luck finding one. [/sarcasm]

A somewhat more available alternative is a 120/14 Berthiot Perigraphe VIa in barrel. The barrel can be jammed into the front of an Ilex #3. The shutter's rear tube may have to be trimmed to reduce vignetting and get full coverage. Look on ebay.fr, the lenses aren't particularly rare.
