Our Noritsu 2102 analog printer finally bit the dust today and was moved out from our lab. We had the machine for almost 9 years. It was one of the last late great analog printers Noritsu made. Major workhorse that could do 2000 3 1/2 x5s in 1 hour. Last count our machine did well over 8 million prints (If I remember right). Our 3011 machine took over main duty in 2004, so the 2102 was relegated to backup duty and over time got less and less use to the point we never used it. Our machine was gutted for parts (some of which I'm selling on Ebay very soon for the lab) and I heard our machine will be scrapped- possibly the city dump. We are of course not getting anything to replace our 2102, so the 3011 is now the Lone Ranger. Lots of good memories with the old 2102. It was a good machine in its day, but really needed to be used a lot to be kept running properly. It's a high volume machine. So for old time sake I'd thought I'd show some last shots of our 2102 on its way to the great junk heap in the sky.

If anyone is needing parts for a 2102, I've got some going up on Ebay soon.

We got rid of our 1201 which the company bought in 1988. I was both happy and sad to see it go. We got the 3011 and later, we got the 3212. The new printers are easier to use and have a lot more capabilities. We also junked a 613.

It's amazing how much these machines cost when new, and how quickly they have become worthless junk. I have got 2 Noritsu 2611's both built in the year 2000 and they would have cost over AU $100,000 then. Now it would cost about $500 to get rid of them!
But my 2611 is still going strong, so not getting rid of them in a hurry.
I also had to give away a Noritsu 1501, and have another rusting out the back.
