ANNOUNCING THE NEW MODERATION TEAM

Hello All,

I would like to welcome aboard our new moderation team!

David A. Goldfarb
John Callow
Ole Tjugen
Jim Galli

Moderations are discussed by the team before action is taken. Decisions by the team are final, and in most cases a reason for moderation will be given. I believe between the 5 of us we have a good idea of what is best for the overall community. We all believe that moderation is a last resort and plan to moderate with a light hand, so no one needs to panic.

I would like to thank David, John, Ole, and Jim for signing on (the extra help is greatly appreciated!).

Darn, Sean, why are you so early in announcing their names. I was thinking of setting up a temporary booking office for placing online bets on who you'd ask as mods. I'd guessed right in three out of four people. I'd missed only on John, since he's not so present on the forum in my (very limited) experience.

But all kidding aside, we can't think of anyone who'd be unhappy about your choice. We would not mind being moderated by any of these people.

That comment about "the riders of the APUGalypse" must have triggered something - wasn't it "four Horsemen of the Apocralypse1"?

1:"Apocralypse", because most of the writings about it is apocryphal...

I am disappointed that I am not part of the moderation team. Of course I would be locking threads and deleting posts that does not mention Rodinal or talks bad about the golden juice.
