Anhydrous Sodium Carbonate in Dektol?

Hi everyone! I was wondering if I can use sodium carbonate anhydrous in dektol formula instead of the monohydrate(like in D-19) since I mainly have a better access to anhydrous.
I would be happy to know it it’s possible and if there’s a twist in the measurement if I use anhydrous.

Yes. Multiply the monohydrate amount by ~0.85 to get the anhydrous equivalent. In the case of D-72 that would be approx.
68g/l sodium carbonate anhydrous to make the stock solution.

Note anhydrous sodium carbonate is less stable than the monohydrate. Over time it will tend to absorb water from air.
