I’m glad you found a great film camera for your son.

As I mentioned, I am having a blast taking my daughter out to shoot her Pentax MX, and this week, her friend borrowed one of my K1000s because he sees how much fun she’s having!

congrats... I'm a mamiya tlr person, but Olympus is a very well designed and, well-made camera! i'm sure you made a great choice, duly considered, and both you and your son will be very happy. it's exciting.
