at techniscope films , everything been recorded on 9x36mm frame.
because of television can not air that frame , its been cut and a cut strip been put to the air.,
BUT 9x36mm been squeezed in to television frame at the end of film !!!!
end result is very thin long artists I LOVE THIS.
I thought I can cut such a huge eyeglass from very thick glass. I called a engineEring firm who sells high quality glass for telescope makers and cut it with water jet optical clear and they said they can cut it.
My method is to produce two glasses.
First cutting head is on the top and cut two cylinderical surface from the top. each for one eye.
Second , make cutting cylinderical surface from the side and make two pieces , right , left and glue them together.
The cylinder surface will be one surface not two.
I have 3 degrees myopia and thinking to cut the cylinder lens virtually from 3 meters diameter cylinder.
What would be the squeezing factor with above.
Does it all work ?
I want to use it as viewfinder as wrote above for my 35nap 2 3m LOMO.
