I posted a long while back about my interest in putting an anamorphic lens on the front of my SLR/DSLR.

I got some help but I lost it due to time and ebay listings going dark.

In short, I'd like to put an anamorphic lens on my DSLR to get the cine look. I've started shooting for work and I think the look would help pad my skill set out. I'm not afraid of a little experimentation. I saw this back in '14 https://petapixel.com/2014/05/07/shooting-anamorphic-lens-dslr/ and have wanted a reason to spend the money.

Can someone with experience push me in the right direction to find an anamorphic with squeeze of around 2x? I need to find that and the adapters and a manual 85mm. I'd like to keep the price for everything below $350.

Any wise projectionists who can show a fella the way? I don't really know the first thing about these lenses, not even the names. All Greek to me.

Thanks!
