Old books are full of old information; film and chemistry
no longer available, techniques which have become
antiquated or have now alternatives.
THOUGH, for an over all picture, some old book reading I
think a good idea, as long as it is not thought of in specific
as the holy grail. After all, I use GRADED FIBER BASE PAPER
in a BRIGHT, YELLOW-ORANGE lit darkroom.
Then again, I process prints single tray, one-shot, using
neutral to alkaline chemistry. Where but here would
one read of that or, or, or, ... . Dan
