An old time photog!

The cameras were pretty simple back then, huh. This guy (seller) must have some $$. He has a tremendous amount of high-priced vintage photography. I don't know if he does it for a living, as he prices his stuff astronomically high. I think he just likes showing it off and if it sells at a crazy price...then fine.

I always dreamed about going from paper show to paper show and buying up vintage photos / RPPC. But it is a chore. If rich, I'd buy online and save the travel hassle.

Given the angle the lens is pointing off at, I'd have a hard time believing this is actually a self portrait.

It's pretty clear this is staged to look like a self portrait, but it's not, given where the lens is pointing. Nice try, though. Most people won't catch that.

It would be interesting to find out when the first selfie was made with a mirror.
