For fifty (or perhaps "fitty") grand, they could have made the outer sheetmetal of solid gold. I've always wanted to get about 15lbs of platinum and cast it into a doorstop, I'd have it stove enameled black.
I have never thought that gold and black, in this get-up, is a visually good or stylishly compatible combination, but silver and gold, as in watches, often works very well, even better when understated. Probably will be snapped up by a non-photographer and used as a paper weight on a vintage mahogany desk.
except is isent well made at all, and neither are leicas, or Lamborghinis. Al they are is a status symbol.
