Amidol soluble in TEA or Glycol?

Oddly enough, but there is no sediment at all. This is metol in TEA. 8 hours - the precipitate never fell. The working solution is quite active.

No. TEA (triethanolamine) has nothing to do with ordinary tea. This is a chemical substance (amine). Just its abbreviated name is similar to "tea", but it does not mean anything in terms of chemistry.
 
TEA is just a shortened version of a longer chemical name. It is similar in many ways to acronyms like SLR for Single Lens Reflex.
