Am I wrong? Are these Nikon B2 focusing screens?

I am trying to find some B2 focusing screens, and I find a lot of listings on eBay. But even though they are listed as B2 and have B2 boxes, they all look like the K-type to me based on the MIR site. Am I wrong? I am guessing when people put their new B type screens on their cameras, they put the K-type screens into the B type boxes for safekeeping, and now they are all mis-listed:

The linked example is a K2 screen. The camera came with a K screen, and people would replace it with a B screen and put the K screen into the box the B screen came in, so be aware.

Just what I thought. There are a lot of them like that, and I ordered some, unfortunately.

Similar with Canon accessory back doors in their dedicated boxes. Though here for the majority the inapt couple should be obvious.

Yeah. I imagine most used B and E boxes will have K screens in them. As far as I know the 3 series screens are still available new, at least in Japan.

Do you know if those will fit in the FE and FM2? I've read conjecture that they do, but don't know anyone who has tried it. It seems to me they would...

Only indirectly. I have put a 3 series screen in a FE2 and a 2 series into a FE. I don't own the FE any longer so I can't do an actual check for you, I'm afraid.

I have a B3 on my FM2n so yes they work!
