I'm lookin to make prints on various scraps of metal, glass, plastic and other junk waste for a project and just wondering what processes would allow me to do this? Thanks shakey.
the easiest one to work on for your purposes would probably be Liquid Light- it's a silver-gelatin emulsion that comes as a viscous liquid you can coat on to just about anything. After that, you could try cyanotype, but that would require either large format in-camera negatives or enlarged negatives, as it is a contact-printing process.
You can make your own sliver emulsion. www.thelightfarm.com has all the info you need to make your own emulsion. You could also use lazertran paper to lift and transfer the image onto random objets.
