Anderson Ranch Workshop in Snowmass Village, Colorado. A few places are still available! Alternative Processes in the Digital Age, a workshop at Anderson Ranch Arts Center. Early photographic processes present a compelling alternative to silver and digital prints. Using only fine quality paper, hand-applied emulsion and simple technology, learn to prepare paper and digital negatives for printing with cyanotype, Van Dyke Brown and kallitype. We work with digital negatives on ink press transparency media along with paper negatives, cyanotypes, Van Dyke Brown prints and kallitypes. We use Adobe Photoshop software and digital printers. The workshop consists of morning demonstrations and afternoon studio work sessions each day to allow students to work with all processes.
