I re-printed my salted paper print today. The first one had a small defect, and I also wanted to print it just a tiny bit deeper. Today was a nice sunny day here, so it was a good day to make another copy.
I am using a new way of making alignment marks ( so that no pencil marks are near the image area ) and I forgot to erase them before I started processing the print. I know some people call these "maker's marks" and think of them as part of the print, but I intended to erase them. They do not extend into the area that would be visible if the print were framed, even with a little space between the window mat and the image area, so it's not a big deal, but I'm still sorry I forgot. ( Not that I'm suggesting it's worthy of framing
) Looking forward to the exchange!
