I returned in to one thread which I opened at 2015. Drew Wiley shared his experience on cibachrome prints. If we only talk about cibachrome , the melinex layer acts strange on them. Melinex have 3d refraction index and for every angle in 3d , print looks different.
Its common for alt prints also. ALT printers hesitate to put scans to gallery because single dimension erases the qualities.
I thought if we take multiple images from multiple angles of a example cibachrome image and transform it in to 3d image and put to the gallery and that gallery shows the image with cursor was changing angles of 3d object , I think that would solve many issues.
ps. I thought that the light factor and 3d , and I dont know how this goes. May be there is a need for software does angle - apeereance channge. I dont know , just a thought.
Another idea is to use 2 or more different glasses on scanner if you prefer scanner to share your print.
Glasses been cut with profile where with ascending angle , you can scan one normal , left to right right to left , top to below , below to top ascending glasses. 3 glasses makes 5 angles.
