6 x 12 for use with 120/220 film; Camera is made with the 75mm f5.6 Mamiya-Sekor lens and automatic frame counting roll film back; flocked; with level and finder; step-up ring and cap. Fun camera...I paid a lot (800$)...but not looking for as much, 600$ shipped.

From Steven, who made the camera: "The 75mm Mamiya lens easily covers the 4x5 format and 6x12 with no falloff and sharp into the corners at f 8 and lower f stops, a bit soft wide open at f5.6. The aluminum body was placed in a special alignment fixture then screwed to the back with stainless steel screws, the Mamiya back was suitably altered for the 6x12 format along with re-calibration of the frame counter, camera is extremely easy to load, just get the leader inserted in the take up spool, shut the back and wind until it locks on number one, just like a Rolleiflex, camera uses 220 film as well."
His site, with pix of actual camera: http://alpenhause.com/Albums/TheAlpenhauseMamiya6X12PanoramicCamera/index.htm

From me, who has used this quite a bit: I haven't shot at less than f/8 or f/11, and it's wonderfully sharp. The level is placed just in the right spot to be visible in the finder, but not block the view. The Sekor has an extremely short throw...but it's scale focus, so not as important. It's a cool camera that takes one of my favorite formats...just need to raise money...

Thanks!

None scanned, that I can find off the top of my head; let me look through a stack of unlabeled CD's though and I'll post/email if I find. Thank you for the interest.

What is the approximate horizontal angle of view? Is it about the same as a 21mm lens on the 35mm format?

...actually did find a cheapo scan of a very poorly composed shot, but, it at least shows the view.

Karl; I *think* the horizontal is about 75 degrees, definitely less than 80 degrees. And the 35mm (135) equivalent is more like 24mm.
