Well, I have decided that I need a new project. SO I have decided to build my own large format view camera. I have started out with a couple of basics. I just got my first pack of Polaroid PN55 4x5 film and have a 545 holder on the way. My brother-in-law is a woodworker on the side and I am going to employ his skills in creating must body pieces. I will figure out the rest, rails and all for adjustments.
Now, I am not too proud to beg. If anyone would be willing to maybe throw me some crap parts. Probably too much to hope for but I need a lens, shutter and 4x5 springback and a ground glass. I'm not asking for primo stuff here, just the dogs. Does anybody have anything laying around that you don't think is worth listing on eBay but you want that box to go away?
