No, somebody who is confident in oneself and distinctive does not need to be superlative about it. Problem is: you're not that exceptional.

Wait a minute here. Could we be making a grave mistake? I would guess that David, within 2 weeks will be capable of being a most valuable resource. Fully expect do I that the folks a RIT will shortly be on the phone to him asking that he come and upgrade their knowledge base.

This thread is not particularly offensive, if anything it is amusing. Although as a child I was taught not to laugh at the afflicted.

Why? Am I once again going to get yelled at by the moderators and by Sean for reacting to people's rude and obnoxious statements? I just wanted to introduce myself to the people around here with intentions to diffuse the tension and hopefully become friendly with a few of you. I wanted people to know who I am and this is how they respond?

Everyone says that NYers are some of the rudest people in the world, yet I've never even come close to this kind of treatment from a group of individuals who I promote! It's astounding! You like the idea of what I do, great, subscribe, buy it, do whatever! You don't, don't subscribe, don't buy it... but attack me because you don't like it?

Folks, I'm a big instigator, but the past few months can't be blamed on me. Go back through the threads...I had every intention of helping the world of analog photography by showcasing the fine art photography of the ones who create the art! But I come onto here with such hostility...it's absolutely incredible.

No moderators will be yelling at you for this thread David. Or at least I won't be.

Personally NYC is one of my favorite cities of the world....quite possibly the most....can't wait to get back there hopefully yet this summer.....

and I have not found New Yorkers to be rude at all....to the point and informed yes....not rude....actually to me they have great tolerance and just the greatest since of humor...I am really missing my corner bagel man

I guess it comes down to...

"The big dog, doesn't have to tell the little dogs how big he is."

It's fine that you can be confident and sometimes arrogant, but unfortunately most people find it obnoxious. That's something that humility is good for... Making friends, instead of repelling people.

Welcome to Apug David,

joe

What kind of food does San Francisco have? I'm going to have to have a soda and a pie at Vinnie's before I leave. Hold the sausage!

I would definately like to welcome you as an analog shooter. The constant sales stuff is boring. A year and a half of sales calls and sales E-mails has left a sour taste. I consider it harrasment. An invasion. Thankfully you finally quit after our last conversation. Maybe putting work up for us to enjoy will give us something positive to communicate from. The truth is the reterick means very litlle until validated by the effort. So good luck with the images show us what you've got!

BTW I love N.Y. Also and the people.

Thanks for the bio, David.

The longer I live, the shorter my biograhy becomes. I will post it when it can fit in a Sig. Until then,
