How nice it would be if they still made roll film folding cameras in 4x5 or 5x7 with MODERN materials and MODERN film emulsions. Those old Kodaks were so light to carry and very compact for the format they shot. A roll of 8 frames weighed nothing and took up no space as compared to 4 double darkslides / film holders. As I've gotten older I don't like the weight and bulk of the field camera, holders and darkcloth as much anymore, BUT I love the unique beauty of a contact print from a 4x5 or 5x7 negative. Seeing that new Fuji 670 folder, give it a rising front and a proper negative size of a 112 spool, now I'm getting excited. O well, one can still dream.
All the best my friends,
Sam H.
