I have several items that I would like to donate to someone in a school that is teaching Darkroom Photography. The more significant items are four film developing tanks. They are:

1) A Honeywell Nikor stainless steel tank with reel. It holds two 35 mm reels.

2) A second stainless steel tank and reel with plastic cover, brand unknown. The reel for this tank also fits the Nikor tank. It holds one 35 mm reel.

3) A Yankee brand plastic tank w/ reel. The reel is adjustable for larger film sizes, looks like 120/620 to me.

4) An Fr brand plastic tank w/ reel. Very similar to the Yankee brand tank.

All are in excellent condition. I don’t think the two plastic tanks have ever been used.

Along with the tanks I will include a few film holding clips, an enlarging meter, a couple of safe light bulbs, and maybe a few other items that may turn up if they fit in the box.

If you will pay the postage, I will mail all of this in a large, USPS flat rate box. Postage will be $18.90, and I would like either a USPS money order or certified bank check as payment. To respond to this ad, send me a PM with some information on your school and the darkroom course(s) being taught. I’m trusting in your honesty that this information is the truth and that you are not scamming me to get some free equipment.

I believe that I read another post yesterday on this forum, by someone looking for the items that you have, for an educational venture.

I'm posting this comment to bring this thread to the top again in the hope that they now see it.

Well done for your offer.

So, to my dismay, it seems no teachers or schools are interested in these tanks, etc. Let's therefore open this offer to ANYONE practicing film development and helping keep the medium alive. PM me, send me the $18.90, and the stuff is yours. ronwhit

bump I would really like all of this equipment to go to a good home, and not to a landfill. Offer open to anyone who can use it. ronwhit

I don't teach a class but I do teach kids film on occasion. Nothing official though, just big brother stuff.

In 1971 my friend and I developed my first roll of film in his Yankee clipper tank.

Ron,

I do not need any of this, before it goes to the landfill let me know and I'll slip a twenty in the mail. I'll pass it on to somebody somewhere if I can.

Thanks

Arthur

Hi Arthur,
Another member has expressed interest and said he would sent postage. I'll check with him and get back to you. Can you send me a PM, so that we can handle this "off line?. Thanks, Ron
