Hi there

One of my clients Charlotte Forbes is in a group show at the All Gallery in New Haven Ct.
We have printed two 30x40 mural fibre prints from her series Hairology for this show. If you are in this neck of the woods drop by and see her Images.

So that gallery is 5 minutes away. Just popped and popped back out. Very nice pics. Both are rich in tones as there is so much content in each of them. The contrasting themes between the two weren't subtle either. White versus black. Pretty versus ugly. Rich versus poor. Women versus men. Modern versus unsophisticated. Yet, I bet if I walked into either of those shops, I would have felt immediate tension. Perhaps the common element in the two, besides the hair cutting environment and the relaxed nature of the people already in the picture. Another contrast.

I liked the description of them "Traditional Silver Gelatin Print". But, what was intriguing were the other two photography works in the exhibition. They were described as just "Photography".

Nice printing Bob.

Regards, Art.

Thanks, In the 1950;s that was the A.C. Gilbert factory where they made erector sets and the famed American Flyer train sets. Thanks agein.
Seems to be a lot of converted factories here. I live in a building that was girdle factory!

Art. :surprised:
