As per Carson Grave's book, I have taken a very dense negative, and I've drawn an X through it corner to corner, and projected it large. Without even needing to print, on my baseboard, i can see that the lower too corners of my image are out of focus.
Unfortunately, beseler's instructions about alignment are unhelpful. The screws in the negative stage are in free rotation, and i don't know how to adjust them.
Does anyone have any experience with this item?
Also, I've noticed that when I lever the lamphouse into place, it lowers the front of the negative stage by about 2mm. That seems to be my problem, but I don't know the solution.
