Even worth buying a second one at $10 in case you lose one.

This was another one of those "wishing" one's life away deals. It starts early in life as we know. Old enough to join little league, the scouts, drive, smoke, drink, reduction in car insurance costs,..........etc. As I've had my $10 Lifetime Senior Park Pass for years now, I've really stopped wishing for the next age pinnacle................LOL

Good point, because if you lose one it's not replaced. BTW, if you look here, you'll find many locations other than National Parks that MAY issue the pass.

I doubt they'll sell 2 to one individual.

I got around that by buying one for me and one for my wife.

Even at $80 it's not a bad deal. Remember the card applies to all national parks. The !@#$%&* republicans what to sell the parks off to the highest bidder. What would we have to pay then? I cringe at the thought of what a Trump or Disney would do to them.

That is simply not true. Try doing some fact checking before posting after all you are not a tweeting president.

Since they say you have to buy another one if the first is lost, you probably can. If they give you any trouble, have Trump call me.

I meant two at the same time. Obviously you can go back the next day...

Disney Land costs more than that for a day pass, I gotta believe $80 to go as many times as you want to a National Park is a great deal.

It is. $10 is rediculously low and I was happy to pay it!

$80 is a lot of money for folks on a low income, limited budget. Is that really the purpose of National Parks - to discourage the poor from using them? I don't think that was the idea when the National Park system was created.

So hurry up and buy your life time pass now. If you do not like the price rise, complain to you-know-whom.

I just bought a lifetime pass, as previously noted.

I also buy an annual pass the first time I visit a park each year.
Then I pay the normal single-trip entry fee each time.

Pretty cheap entertainment, and the Park Service can certainly use the money.

I do not think it is high. If any family is going to go to multiple National Parks (lets say 5 times a year), then that is $16 per visit, which is cheap at any economic level (that at least can afford a car and the gas). Two people can't even go to the movies for $16...and you get a whole National Park for the whole family. And if the family is multi-generational, then chances are someone can get the Life-long pass...and it is dirt cheap for the family.

Camping fees are a different story.
