Air Purifier vs Ventilation

..i get an argument every time i post here...do i smell?

i can find nothing online referring OZONE as a carcinogen that isn't 30 years old. I can however find OZONE 'cancer treatment'.

Ozone generators are widely used as air cleaners. I dont think the EPA would allow their use if they caused cancer.

id like to see info related to the ill effects of Ozone. if you have them email them to me please.

guess it was a hopeful dream i could expect peaceful posting, i will not post another reply.

happy newyear to all.

I'm not trying to be argumentative but here are some URLs for you...

However; a company that makes ozonolysis equipment says it is not toxic or carcinogenic here:

http://www.poolcenter.com/ozone_facts_infor_poolstor.htm

and here they have a good discussion as well about the dangers of ozone at ground level:

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2003/06/030610081041.htm

I think that this shows that there is potential danger as a carcinogen and a definite danger insofar as possible lung damage.

That is what I was pointing out.
