Hello,

I shot a 35mm roll of RPX 400 at ISO 400, that I'd like to develop with SPUR HRX.

The film's Dead Link Removed suggests
- continuous agitation for first 30 seconds immediately after pouring the developer
- then inverting once every 30 seconds

On the other hand, SPUR's HRX dev. sheet suggests, for a medium contrast,
- inverting the tank twice right at the beginning
- then inverting once every 60 seconds.

Which agitation method should I follow for a normal contrast? For your information, it was moderately foggy, right after the sunrise, in a hilly area, and of some trees.

Bests,

Ashfaque

Hi
I couldn't see on your links what is the development time using SPUR HRX and Rollei RPX400.

Oops, 15 minutes is actually mentioned in the English section of SPUR's site. Look at the 2nd file under HRX, also linked in my initial post.

Thanks!
Saw it.

Rollei has times only for the previous version of HRX, confusingly it is called HRX-3.
I think it is safer to follow the SPUR method, dilution and time.
Enjoy it!
