hi, im gonna try to develop a roll of Agfapan APX100 (ISO 100) (roll is 10 years old, exposed last week and then kept cool), and im wondering if anyone has any suggestions on developing times? Where i am right now i dont have any options, so ill have to try it and make the best of it. I know it will be grainy but thats how i want it.

thanks

Dektol is a paper developer, so I wouldn't use that. I'd probably go with Xtol, HC-110 or Rodinal, just because I have all three of those and feel comfortable using them. You can search the Massive Developing Chart at DigitalTruth.com and find times for whatever developer you want to use. I would probably increase those times by at least 10% since the film is the age you say it is, and I'd probably expose it at a lower ISO.

Many years ago, I accidentally tray processed some sheets of HP5+ in Dektol. Though lightly streaked, they were actually printable (night shots of a carnival). Lucked out with the night-time photography for sure.
