I still see Agfa film in the shops. Who makes this film? I thought Agfa went bankrupt as a film producer and exited the business. What is the legacy with this Agfa film still produced today?

I doubt what you're seeing in the shops is new Agfa film. These was a considerable amount left over after Agfa went out of business, and various distributors have been selling off the stocks ever since.

Agfa had more than one division. The surviving parts still make a number of industrial products, including things like Traffic/Surveillance materials, so it is possible to find current materials with Agfa-like names, even if they aren't strictly general purpose photographic films.

Some of the AgfaPhoto products you see today are distributed by Lupus Imaging and are re-branded Fuji film, unless Japan has another film factory!
Agfaphoto Vista Plus 200 is a batch or re-branded Fuji C200 and rumours are that the CT Precisa is the old Provia 100. Look at the boxes and you'll see "Made in Japan".

You haven't said if it is B&W or colour film but there was a lot of Agfa B&W on U.K. e-bay. It appeared to be old stock although still in date.

Agfa Belgium is still in business. They sold the consumer film part to a new company: AgfaPhoto, who went bankrupt a year later!
Agfa still makes film, but for specialist purposes, such as aerial photography. Some of it is sold to Maco in Germany and sold under the Rollei brand.
In other words, Agfa makes films, they just can't be sold under the Agfa brand.

BTW, AgfaPhoto is also still in business, but they licence the trademarks to different companies. That's why you can still find AgfaPhoto Vista Plus, distributed by Lupus and made in Japan, although it has nothing to do with the original Vista product.

All of the APX100 on the shelves today is the new old Agfa stock. Having been kept as master rolls in deep cellars for years it will still stay good for many years to come. All of the color print films 'Agfaphoto Vista Plus' and chrome 'Precisa' are rebranded Fuji film. All are very good deals in my humble opinion.

The new Rollei Retro series films are made by Agfa Belgium, they evan have a big AGFA logo on the side. I've used the 80 ISO one (which was apparently develpoed as an aerial film for the Belgian military) and it's pretty good. Comes in 127 format as well, and its pretty much the only alternative to Efke in that size.

Also, if its films like the old Agfa emulsions that you're after, I've heard good things about some of ADOX's stuff
